• During this 3-hour botanical printmaking workshop, you will create your own herb garden print.
• You will receive 5 A5-size hand-cut fabrics, along with additional practice paper. All necessary paints and materials are provided.
• To inspire your designs, a selection of spring bulbs will be available for you to use.
• Coffee, tea, and bubbles, along with some bites, will be provided. 🌿

In this workshop, you will learn the basics of botanical printmaking using a gel plate, and how to create your own prints on paper using herbs and plant forms. By the end of the session, you will have created unique, handmade botanical designs — perfect for decorating your wall or as a meaningful reminder of a well-spent day at the beautiful Moestuin de Haar.

During the workshop, you will:

• Watch a guided demonstration of the botanical printmaking process
• Learn about the essential materials and tools used in botanical printmaking
• Explore how to work with herbs to create balanced and expressive compositions
• Create your own botanical prints to take home

• We work with water-based paints, which generally wash out easily. However, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing and avoiding your most delicate or favorite pieces, just in case.
• It is recommended to bring a rainproof folder to take your prints home safely.

These general terms and conditions apply to every agreement relating to a workshop that you conclude with XiXi Floral Botanical.

Before you sign up for a workshop it is important to read these carefully. By registering you indicate your agreement with the general terms and conditions.

1: Applicability

1.1 These general conditions apply to all offers and agreements from clients or (potential) participants regarding workshops.

1.2 An agreement to participate in a workshop is established by the payment for the relevant workshop in the webshop Xixi Floral Botanical.

2: Registrations

2.1 All workshops are held subject to receiving a sufficient number of registrations.

2.2 Xixi Floral Botanical reserves the right to change the location of a workshop if necessary.

2.3 After registering, you will receive an (electronic) confirmation of receipt via e-mail, which finalizes your registration. Registrations are processed in the order they are received.

2.4 Each workshop has a limited number of spots available, ranging from 8 to 15 participants. Once a workshop is full, registration will be automatically closed, and it will no longer be possible to book a place via the website.

2.6 By registering, you agree to the general terms and conditions.

3. Cancellation by the Participant

3.1 Cancellations must be made via email.

3.2 Cancellation Policies for Workshops:

- Cancellations made up to 1 month (30 days) before the start of the workshop will incur a charge of 25% of the due workshop fee. 

- For cancellations made between 30 to 14 days before the workshop start date, 50% of the participation fee will be charged. 

- Cancellations made less than 14 days before the workshop start date will result in a charge of 100% of the participation fee. 

- No refunds will be issued for no-shows at the workshop.

3.3 If you are unable to attend, you are allowed to send someone in your place. The confirmation of participation is transferable, but please inform us about the change.

3.4 In the event of a cancellation, it is not possible to reschedule the workshop for another date.

4. Cancellation/Transfer by XiXi Floral Botanical

4.1 XiXi Floral Botanical reserves the right to cancel any workshop due to an insufficient number of participants. In such cases, participants will be notified at least 7 days before the scheduled start date.

4.2 XiXi Floral Botanical may change the date of a workshop no later than 2 weeks before its starting date. Participants will be informed of this change via email and will have the option to reschedule to a new date without any additional charges.

4.3 In the event of cancellation due to the illness of the facilitator, participants will have the option to either reschedule to another date or cancel their registration. In such cases, any fees paid for the workshop/course will be fully refunded.

4.4 Each workshop requires a minimum of 6 to 8 participants to proceed. If the number of participants is below this threshold, the workshop will be canceled.

5. Payment

5.1 Participants are assured a place in the workshop after full payment has been made.

6. Complaints

6.1 If you have a complaint about a workshop, please contact Xixi Floral Botanical, and we will do our best to assist you and resolve the problem.

6.2 Filing a complaint does not exempt the participant from their obligation to make payment.

7. Liability

7.1 Xixi Floral Botanical accepts no liability for personal injuries or for damage to participants' property, nor for any incidents that occur during the workshop.

7.2 Please note that materials used during the workshop may stain clothing or personal belongings. Xixi Floral Botanical is not liable for any items that become soiled or damaged. Participants are encouraged to wear old clothes as a precaution, especially when working with paint.

8. Other

8.1 Xixi Floral Botanical reserves the right to change the content and/or prices of the workshops at any time.

8.2 Any parking fees and/or public transport costs incurred by participants are their own responsibility.

8.3 Xixi Floral Botanical reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant from a workshop or course who causes a disturbance before or during the event. Such individuals will not be eligible for a refund of any fees paid.
