As summer softens into autumn, we gather among the blooming heather for a day of creativity, connection, and quiet immersion in nature.
Set at the beautiful De Hoorneboeg, surrounded by heathland, forests, and winding paths, this seasonal edition invites you to slow down and experience the landscape at a gentler pace.
Together, we'll wander through the heather, engage our senses, create botanical prints inspired by the season, and share a nourishing meal in a beautiful natural setting.
This is not a workshop.
It is a day to reconnect—with yourself, with nature, and with the beauty of autumn.

Zizi is a florist turned botanical printmaker. She captures the quiet beauty of nature and transforms it into timeless artwork, bringing a sense of calm into any space. Beyond giving flowers a meaningful, lasting life through print, she creates and guides creative experiences designed to help people slow down, reconnect with themselves and nature, and simply create.
Arrival & Slow Welcome

We begin the day gathered at De Hoorneboeg with tea, coffee, and a warm welcome.
A moment to settle in, meet one another, and ease into the slower rhythm of the day.
Guided Mindful Walk in the Heathland
10:30 – 12:00
Led at a gentle pace, we set off into the heathland for a mindful walk through the autumn landscape.
Through simple prompts and moments of quiet observation, you'll be invited to notice colours, textures, sounds, and seasonal details often missed in everyday life.
No destination. No rush.
Just time to be present with the landscape and yourself.
Seasonal Lunch
12:00 – 13:00
A nourishing lunch shared together in a beautiful setting.
Time to connect, reflect, and enjoy the surroundings.
Botanical Printmaking with Zizi
13:00 – 16:30
Inspired by what we've observed during the morning walk, we gather for a botanical printmaking session.
Working with seasonal plants and natural forms, you'll create your own artwork while learning Zizi's botanical printing techniques.
No experience is required—only curiosity and a willingness to explore.
Closing Gathering
16:30 – 17:00
We close the day gently with tea/coffee and something sweet, taking a final moment to reflect before returning home.
You'll leave with your botanical prints, fresh inspiration, and the feeling of a day well spent in nature.
Blooming Day — by XiXi Floral Botanical
These general terms and conditions apply to every agreement relating to Blooming Day and any other experiences organised by XiXi Floral Botanical.
Before registering, please read these carefully. By completing your booking, you confirm that you agree to these terms and conditions.

1. Applicability
1.1 These terms apply to all offers, registrations, and agreements relating to Blooming Day and other experiences organised by XiXi Floral Botanical.
1.2 An agreement is concluded once full payment has been received via the website or agreed payment method.
2. Registration & Participation
2.1 Blooming Day is held subject to a minimum number of participants.
2.2 Participation is confirmed only after full payment has been received.
2.3 Registrations are processed in order of receipt.
2.4 Blooming Day has a limited number of spots (minimum 4 participants, maximum as stated on the website). Once fully booked, registration closes automatically.
2.5 By registering, you agree to these general terms and conditions.
Cancellation by the Participant
3.1 Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
3.2 Cancellation policy
Due to venue commitments, accommodation reservations, catering arrangements, and preparation costs, the following cancellation terms apply:
More than 16 weeks before the retreat start date: 25% of the retreat fee is non-refundable.
Between 16 weeks and 8 weeks before the retreat start date: 50% of the retreat fee is non-refundable.
Between 8 weeks and 4 weeks before the retreat start date: 75% of the retreat fee is non-refundable.
Less than 4 weeks before the retreat start date: 100% of the retreat fee is non-refundable.
No refunds will be issued for non-attendance, late arrival, early departure, or any unused portion of the retreat.
3.3 You may transfer your place to another person up to 7 days before the retreat start date, subject to written approval by XiXi Floral Botanical. The replacement participant must provide all required registration details. The original participant remains responsible for any outstanding amounts until the transfer has been confirmed.
3.4 Requests to transfer a booking to a future retreat date are treated as cancellations and are subject to the cancellation terms above.
3.5 If a participant's place can be filled from a waiting list or through a replacement participant arranged by XiXi Floral Botanical, XiXi Floral Botanical may, at its sole discretion, provide a partial refund after deducting any non-recoverable costs, payment processing fees, administrative expenses, and any amounts already committed to third-party suppliers, venues, accommodation providers, catering providers, or activity partners. Any such refund remains entirely at the discretion of XiXi Floral Botanical and does not create an obligation to provide refunds in future cases.
3.6 Participants are strongly advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance and/or cancellation insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may prevent attendance.
4. Cancellation or Changes by XiXi Floral Botanical
4.1 XiXi Floral Botanical reserves the right to cancel Blooming Day in the event of insufficient registrations. Participants will be notified at least 7 days in advance and will receive a full refund of the participation fee.
4.2 In case of force majeure (including illness, extreme weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances), XiXi Floral Botanical reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the experience. In such cases, participants will be offered either a rescheduled date or a refund of the participation fee.
4.3 As Blooming Day includes outdoor elements and seasonal locations, the program may be adjusted due to weather or blooming conditions. Adjustments do not entitle participants to a refund.
5. Travel & Insurance
5.1 Participants are responsible for arranging their own personal travel and (if applicable) accommodation.
5.2 Participants are strongly advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance and/or cancellation insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
5.3 XiXi Floral Botanical is not responsible for travel disruptions, delays, cancellations, or personal travel arrangements.
6. Liability
6.1 Participation in Blooming Day is entirely at the participant’s own risk.
6.2 XiXi Floral Botanical accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property during the experience, including during transport, outdoor visits, or workshop activities.
6.3 Participants are responsible for their own physical condition and suitability to participate in activities involving light walking, standing, and outdoor environments.
6.4 Materials used during creative sessions may stain clothing or personal belongings. Participants are advised to dress appropriately. XiXi Floral Botanical is not liable for damaged or soiled items.
7. Conduct
7.1 XiXi Floral Botanical reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any participant whose behaviour disrupts the experience or affects the safety or well-being of others. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
8. Complaints
8.1 If you have a complaint, please contact XiXi Floral Botanical via email. We will make every effort to address and resolve the matter appropriately.
8.2 Filing a complaint does not suspend any payment obligations.
9. Final Provisions
9.1 XiXi Floral Botanical reserves the right to modify prices, program content, or structure where necessary.
9.2 Dutch law applies to all agreements.
